I'm still trying to find out if it can *receive* MIDI to control the lights. With 16 lit pads ( X 4 banks X 4 modes!!!) it could make an awesome mobile step sequencer controller, especially for percussion. Or it could be used to flash metronomes or beats on DJ software. Or you could "preview" the colour on a lighting set-up on a pad before switching to it etc.
But if it can't receive MIDI then none of that would work.
