I'm pretty into the whole Shruthi/Mutable Instruments scene... and I know of no such project. If you want I can ask around. The thing is: most people who want more hands on control will end up building one of fcd72's programmers. I made one myself for the 4 Pole-Mission and, while it "destroys" the portability of the Shruthi it makes it quite fun to play around with. But something like TubeOhms controller app would be great on the ipad.

What would be its features? mainly to control the Shruthi? Why not use TouchOSC to make a Shruthi layout?
