Tap it Music Pad - an easy to use musical controller
I really love it when people get in touch with me with completely unexpected ideas, and this was no exception to that whatsoever.
I'm a firm believer that mobile music is not just about iOS, or in fact any proprietary operating system or hardware, it is and should be much wider indeed, and Tap it goes towards proving that.
When I watched the video at the beginning I wasn't convinced, but then over the course of about 2 minutes I started to think that this idea actually has a lot going for it. So when you watch it don't just think about how it might be adapted for use with an iOS device, but just how it could be a lot of fun to play around with. Once you've done that take a look at their Indiegogo page and decide what to do from there.
I leave it up to you.

That's just a basic numeric keypad with the keys re-labelled. You can pick up the exact same pad on eBay for 99p
Each time someone comes up with this type of comment (you're not the first one) it makes me wonder where the error comes in. Is it the information itself that's not clear, superficial reading from that persons side or the brain.
1. we, indeed, use modified versions of keypads (hence the low price) and that's all covered in the video and text so the way you present your comment as some kind of 'discovery' leaves me wondering..
2. check our target user, then think again about their ability to make the hack themselves
3. you're wrong about the price, about 10+ times when it comes to the model we're using. including bulk shipping, customs and VAT.
4... there's more. Just don't see the point..
